This post is inspired by an excerpt in my journal. I've kept a journal since my early high school days to help me with my transition, depression, and on-going anxieties. Usually I don't let people in but for now here's something I wrote February 16, 2021. I hope it brings guidance, and peace of mind- like it has for me:
Be grateful for all, especially the little things
Feel the appreciation for what you have now. Delve deep into that emotion!
Don't feel sorry for yourself, were all going through it
It pays to be mentally disciplined and acknowledge others hardships. Which can help see your problems in a new perspective.
We only have the present moment, learn to appreciate it
Eckhart Tolle is known for his teachings of being present and only having this moment.
We don't live in the past and cant live in the future so the present moment is all we have.
Remember your inner child.
Don't take life too seriously. The world is your playground- have fun!
No one has an instruction manual on anything
Make up your own rules along the journey. Listen to your body and mind. Treat yourself the way you feel is best.
Be the energy you want to attract. Be the people you want to attract
If you're seeking love, be love. If you're seeking happiness, be happy.
You're too beautiful of a being to disservice yourself by being irrationally sad, depressed, dwelling
Feel the feelings in the beginning. However after a while its time to be disciplined and carry on!
If you can give energy to the "bad" why not do the same with positivity.
For every negative, irrational, fearful thought conjure up a positive one- even if its make belief!
There's no rush to have it all figured out.
You're time will come- I promise!
Visualize what you want mental physical and spiritual
This journey changes require time and consistency- train your mind to see more good in the process.
